Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: March 1, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the TitleQuiet platform and all related services. By using TitleQuiet, you agree to comply with this AUP in addition to our Terms of Service.

1. Permitted Uses

TitleQuiet may be used only for lawful purposes including:

  • Researching the title status of properties you own or are considering purchasing
  • Conducting due diligence on real property acquisitions
  • Professional title research by licensed title agents, paralegals, and attorneys
  • Identifying title defects for the purpose of curative action
  • Connecting with licensed attorneys for quiet title representation
  • Educational use of the platform's learning resources

2. Prohibited Uses

You may NOT use TitleQuiet to:

  • Systematically scrape, harvest, or download bulk data from the platform
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer the platform's algorithms, scoring logic, or data sources
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers against the platform
  • Share your account credentials with any third party
  • Misrepresent your identity, professional credentials, or purpose of use
  • Research properties with the intent to commit fraud, harassment, or harm
  • Use property owner information for unsolicited marketing or solicitation
  • Circumvent subscription limits or access controls
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Interfere with the platform's infrastructure, servers, or security systems
  • Use the platform in any way that violates applicable federal, state, or local law
  • Reproduce, resell, or redistribute platform data or reports without written authorization

3. Attorney-Specific Obligations

Attorneys using the TitleQuiet attorney network must additionally comply with all applicable Rules of Professional Conduct, including but not limited to rules governing advertising, client communication, confidentiality, and conflicts of interest. TitleQuiet does not supervise your professional conduct but reserves the right to remove attorneys from the network for conduct that violates professional rules or brings disrepute to the platform.

4. Rate Limits & Fair Use

Your subscription plan includes defined usage limits (searches, diagnostics, watches). Using automated tools or scripts to exceed these limits, or sharing credentials to pool limits across multiple users, is prohibited. We may impose additional rate limits at the API level to protect platform stability for all users.

5. Enforcement

Violations of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund, legal action where warranted, and reporting to relevant authorities. We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement as required.
